I’m Lou, a 30 something mum of two who occasionally plays with sticks and string. My Nonna attempted to teach me to crochet and knit when I was small but it was not until some one gave me a Wallis and Gromit Scarf kit several years back that I really began. I’ve been knitting ever since. I’ve recently started to experiment with dyeing yarn and am thoroughly enjoying it. I am the world’s slowest knitter but I get there eventually. I am ashamed to admit that I have several projects which have been on the go for years and never completed.

nearly 8 years old going on 14, the oldest lotusblossom knits sproglet has an opinion and she’s going to use it. Don’t let that fool you though, she’s also loyal, funny, caring and a whole lot of fun.

Just turned 4 years old and a whole bundle of trouble, he does it with such charm though it’s difficult to stay cross!
